Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) – Dialysis
and Transplantation Options
When kidneys fail, renal replacement therapy (RRT) becomes essential to sustain life. We offer comprehensive support and guidance on choosing the most appropriate option for your condition and lifestyle.
Hemodialysis (HD):
Blood is filtered using an artificial kidney (dialyzer),
usually done three times a week in a dialysis center or at home. Vascular
access planning and dietary counseling are included.
Peritoneal Dialysis (PD):
A catheter delivers special fluid into your
abdominal cavity, drawing out toxins and extra fluid. Can be done manually
(CAPD) or with a machine (APD) at night.
Kidney Transplant
We evaluate and prepare eligible patients for kidney
transplantation from living or deceased donors—restoring near-normal kidney
function.
Patient education
Empowering individuals to monitor blood pressure, blood
sugar, and kidney lab tests regularly.
Goal: Ensure a smooth and personalized transition to dialysis or transplant, with
the best possible quality of life and clinical outcomes.
