Kidney Disease Prevention Program – Protect
Your Kidneys Early
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) often develops silently—but with the right care, its onset and progression can be delayed or even prevented. Our Kidney Disease Prevention Program focuses on:
Early detection
We screen high-risk individuals—those with diabetes, high
blood pressure, family history of CKD, or obesity—for signs of kidney
damage using eGFR, urine ACR, and ultrasound.
Lifestyle intervention:
We provide expert guidance on following a kidney-
friendly diet (low salt, low phosphate, balanced protein), increasing physical
activity, maintaining hydration, and avoiding NSAIDs and tobacco.
Medication management
We use ACE inhibitors, ARBs, and newer protective agents like SGLT2 inhibitors or GLP-1 receptor agonists to reduce further kidney damage in diabetic and hypertensive patients.
Patient education
Empowering individuals to monitor blood pressure, blood
sugar, and kidney lab tests regularly.
Goal: Keep your kidneys functioning longer with a personalized prevention plan
led by a qualified nephrologist.
